The keynote presentation was the one I liked the best :-) On second day, most of the MSC sessions were very exciting. Real-time demo of SimXpert templates for Washing machine assembly by Vidya Shankar SimManager demo by Boma Koko, MD Nastran Break Squeal analysis demo by Shiva Padmanabhan and Aerospace Industry updates by Doug Niel were too good to miss.

Hi Sridhar,

"Highlight of the inagural day session was the customer keynote by Dr. Sathya Prasad Mangalaramanan, Section Head, Advanced Engineering, Ashok Leyland."

Sathya is a cool narrator :-)

I would disagree with you. Unfortunately you are way out on the left field. People would have come to the user's conference expecting to learn more about MSC products. Dr. Sathya Whoever, instead spoke about general engineering and nothing specifically honoring MSC products. Look at TSK, Koko, etc. They spoke for MSC products. I do not think anybody liked Dr. Sathya's speech. I mean, when CAE software can do everything these days, what is the point in speaking about fundamentals? I don't think anyone liked his presentation. What was so great in "Dr." Sathya Whoever's presentation? I could have also done that!!! Tell me one thing you learnt from him. One hour of waste.

Various people have various views. At least if Sri has found that the remaining 15 hours of the two day session (lunch included) was useful, still he has made use of 94% of his time in the conference! Therefore, all was not lost.
